Family Recovery Group
Family members of addicted persons need support, education, and therapies for their own conflicts. This group invites family members except for the active users in order to stabilize, educate, intervene, and begin family recovery even if the active users do not get into recovery. This initial six-week core educational group is an opportunity for family healing. This family work is important because persons in treatment need support from their family to be successful in early recovery. However, without addressing family dynamics the transition from brokenness to recovery will be difficult. This group invites participation and change for the affected family members.
