Remember how you
chose a college and career?
The admissions process
is very different today. It doesn’t just happen - it takes extensive,
deliberate planning.
Our nationally recognized process helps
the high school student to:
 |
Develop an individualized plan to
maximize the high school experience and resume.
|
 |
Determine through extensive testing
and exploration the college bound student’s strengths, values,
personality, aptitudes, and career interests. |
 |
Determine important criteria for
considering colleges based on the student’s academic and social
development.
Mrs. Spraetz spends 20% of her time visiting and evaluating colleges
Nation-wide, thereby learning about unique programs and majors. |
 |
Generate a list of colleges (Stretch
schools, In Reach schools and Safety schools)
that is a match with
the student’s profile, and to learn about the daily life of
careers
of interest. |
 |
Identify gaps for the application and
develop and action plan to address them and develop a strong essay.
|
This process involves coaching the
student throughout the application process to help keep them focused and
confident when making this important and costly decision.
