The
Reverend Neal Kuhlhorst is an
ordained minister, pastoral counselor and licensed marriage and family
therapist. Since his ordination in 1982, Neal has served as a pastor in
churches located in Kentucky and Georgia. Also, he has served as a staff
therapist at the Covenant Counseling Institute and the Georgia
Association for Pastoral Care. As part of his pastoral care journey,
Neal has trained Chaplains in Hospice work and consulted with several
area Hospice organizations. Since 2002, he has been parish associate for
The Church of The Hills and director of the church’s counseling
services.
Neal’s
practice focuses on developing and enhancing committed relationships.
Promoting, open, honest and caring communication is at the heart of his
service. His guiding vision is the belief that we all yearn for loving
and intimate relationships and it is through them that we experience
healing and growth. His goal is to foster healing experiences through
therapy and to teach effective tools to promote life changing growth
through education. To achieve this goal, Neal utilizes the tools of
Imago Relationship Therapy developed by Harville Hendrix, PhD.
